Children's Clothing Swap Fundraiser

Kailyn's daycare is having a clothing swap on Saturday April 14th from 8am-Noon. We need clothing donations of "like new" or "new" condition children's clothing (All infant sizes-teen are welcome). Each piece of clothing will be sold for $1 each. The fundraiser benefits the school, but also helps you buy the next size clothing for you children! Kailyn is currently in the Waddler room, which helps them transition into the Toddler I classroom (2 year olds).

 About her school:

Conveniently located in Berryville, VA, just off Rt. 340, Heritage Child Development Center is 5,700 square foot, state-of-the-art facility, designed and built with children in mind. The classrooms are large and filled with things children want to play with and - more importantly - can learn with!
Before you even enter HCDC, you understand that it’s a different kind of place. Crawling up the looped drainpipe is a not-so Itsy-Bitsy Spider, and a farm bell tower commands attention at the front. Children ring the bell on their birthday while their classmates sing their birthday celebration song!
After passing through a coded security door, your child is greeted by Carnival-style fun mirrors, and the length of the hallway is trimmed with shapes and textures and words that loosely illustrate the friendly Town of Berryville.
There are six classrooms designed to meet the emerging needs of children as they grow, and three age-appropriate outdoor playgrounds - surrounded by secure fencing - to challenge their physical development. The children have plenty of room to run, climb, slide, pedal and dig!
HCDC is located within walking distance of the Mary Hardesty House, an assisted living facility. The children visit the residents several times a year - they parade their adorable costumes for Halloween in October, and a bring cookies and stories during Christmas!
HCDC is proud to be a United Way agency . The United Way has been a major champion of our program.
In addition to funding, United Way volunteers have donated many hours to helping us maintain our gardens, yards, and playgrounds on the annual Day of Caring.
HCDC is open 5 days a week, from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, and year-round except for major holidays and two in-service training days.

If anyone would like to donate any clothing, please contact me so I can arrange to pick it up before April 13th. For this event to be successful, buyers are needed! Below is a link to the school's website:

  1. If I want to set something like this up where I live, how would I go about doing that?

    1. I'm not sure. Her school set everything up. The town was having a yard sale and we're having one to benefit the daycare.
